PTA Update – Summer Term 2026
Since being elected PTA Chair in November 2025, I have been working closely with the committee to support our school community and raise funds that directly benefit our pupils.
Thanks to the fantastic support of Woodville families, the PTA has contributed almost £6,000 this year towards a range of resources and enrichment opportunities, including Forest School equipment, classroom resources, sensory and wellbeing materials, lunchtime equipment, books, music resources, whole-school enrichment activities, and support for Year 6 events and experiences.
Upcoming Events
18 June – Father’s Day Gift Sale
2 July – Sports Day (Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6)
4 July – Summer Fayre at William de Ferrers School, 1.00pm–5.00pm
7 July – Sports Day (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2)
These events are a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together while raising valuable funds for the school.
Looking Ahead
On 29 June, we will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to consider adopting a new constitution that would see the PTA become Friends of Woodville Primary School. This proposed change would allow us to welcome support from a wider range of people, including grandparents, former pupils, local residents, and other members of the community who wish to help the school.
