Topics 📚

Autumn Term:

This term our topic is The Stone Age. In History the children will be finding out about life in the Stone Age and making comparisons to life today. In English we will also be reading Stone Age Boy and How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth. Our Science topic is Rocks and soils and we are going to be visiting Hyde Hall as part of this topic. Homework and Reading ✏️

Homework is set each week on Maths Shed, Spelling Shed and ReadTheory and all children have log in details for these in their Reading Records. The children also have logins to Maths Frame and Timestable Rockstars which they can use to support their learning. 

PE & Forest Schools 🏸

Outdoor PE is on a Monday and indoor PE is on Wednesdays. Please send your child to school in their PE kit. Remember no earrings can be worn during PE lessons. Forest schools will be on a Thursday afternoon. 

Swimming

3BT's swimming will commence on Friday 19th January until Friday the 16th February 2024. Please ensure you child brings in the correct swimming kit and that they have a warm coat to walk to and from the swimming pool. Thank you!
