Phonics support and Common/High Frequency Words to spell

Letters and Sounds is a program of phonics teaching used by many schools. We use this program at Woodville. This list of HFW (High Frequency Words) is listed within the program and includes 'Tricky Words' which can not necessarily be sounded out.

Very useful video clips and worksheets/games Mona explains handwriting and phonics in simple terms to support parents with helping their child with phonics at home. lesson 1 has some great ideas for children who mix up d and b for example.
