Residential Day 2
A good sleep had by all and we were ready for our first full day. Breakfast was sausages, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, toast, yoghurts, cereals and fruit. The sun has been shining and the children have loved the different activities which included: abseiling, rock climbing, archery, challenge course and sensory trail. Lots of personal challenges completed and fears conquered. Lunch was a choice of jacket potatoes with cheese, beans or tuna or chilli and rice, soup, sandwiches and a well stocked fresh pasta and salad bar! Once we had finished our day activities we had a delicious dinner of fish fingers, chicken in tomato sauce, giant potato wedges, sweetcorn, carrots, pasta and delicious sponge cake! Our day concluded with our silent disco complete with flashing glow sticks!! Now tired and ready for bed, the children are settled in their rooms ready for our last full day.
