Day 3

Another excellent day of activities. Today began with another fantastic breakfast of sausages, hash browns, beans, toast, cereal, porridge and yoghurt. All of the children ate a great amount and set themselves up for the day. Activities today included: climbing, fencing, trapeze, raft building, survivor, sensory trail, giant swing and challenge course. Again, some incredible examples of bravery and team work to help each child exceed what they thought they could do. Considering how much we all ate at breakfast, we were 'STARVING' at lunchtime! Everyone tucked in to burgers or chicken burgers with chips and a selection from the salad bar which they have all tucked into several times. This evening dinner was a choice of chicken either plain or with katsu curry sauce, rice, pasta, mac and cheese, carrots, broccoli and garlic roast potatoes. Again, children have been able to select from a huge salad bar and have impressed us with their salad and fruit choices each day.

This evening we have held a tidy room competition and packed ready for coming home tomorrow. Our evening activity was ambush which the children loved. A giant game of hide and seek around the grounds with some of their favourite instructors. We are hoping for tired children and a good nights sleep!

They have also learnt some rather catchy songs for you to listen to on repeat when they come home!
