Welcome to Woodville School

Shenley Lane

Just left. ETA 3pm
Good morning! Our final morning here and we have a little bit of rain but that won’t stop enjoying our last activity. Another filling breakfast, full English, pastries, crumpets, cereals, fruit, yoghurt’s! I don’t know where they put it all! We are expecting the coach to arrive here for 1 o’clock so once we are en route I will post on here and on the year group Facebook page. We envisage being back to school on time perhaps slightly earlier than anticipated but I will keep you notified. The school also send out a text for those who don’t check this page or not on Facebook.  See you soon, Mrs Brock 😁
Had another wonderful day weather was shining and the children have been fantastic!  Lunch was chicken and chips and dinner was a delicious home-cooked shepherds pie. Rhubarb crumble and custard was a big hit for dessert.    We were spoilt with a second desert when we surprised the two birthday girls Emily and Ruby with birthday cake, cards banners and lots of loud singing!   The activities today were water wars, street dance, hover boarding climbing, crate challenge and water rollers known as ‘big Bertha.’  This evening has been finished off with a very calming night hike. The children will tell you all about plastic trees and drop Bears!  All children are now in bed most asleep and exhausted after a long and exciting day.  Last day tomorrow breakfast then activities before we come back. Lots of the children have asked if we can stay longer which I’m taking as a good sign! πŸ‘

Morning all!

All had a good nights sleep and were up very early, dressed and ready way before us!! I am impressed with the amount of showers that have been taken! On my corridor, the boys are frequent shower users!πŸ˜‚ Breakfast today was full English, cereal, crumpets, toast, yoghurts, fruit, juice! The children enjoyed filling up for this mornings activities. We have been so impressed with the children’s team work, encouragement and attitude. They are a great bunch. Photos later x

We have had a wonderful first day here. The children have enjoyed some excellent activities including crate challenge, hoverboarding, climbing and street dance. They had a good dinner and a great evening activity and are now happily settled into bed. Hoping for a good night sleep and a hearty breakfast tomorrow ahead of another action packed day.
