Update - Settling into year 3 -End of September 2019
The children have settled in very quickly to their new class and everything new that comes with moving from the Infants into the Juniors.
We have democratically elected our two class representatives for the School Council and as our Eco Warriors.
We have also allocated children to one of each of our four House Teams - Churchill, Scott, Marconi and Armstrong. They are already enjoying being awarded ‘Team Points’ for trying hard or showing super manners.
We have drawn up a list of classroom and school ‘rules’ which everyone has agreed to try to abide by in order to be the best person they can possibly be! These include being respectful to everyone and taking care of their own belongings and the classroom environment. The children also decided that it was important to understand that a quiet environment helps them to concentrate, so it is good to be aware of noise expectations - particularly when they are asked to listen carefully or to move from one activity/location to another.
Thank you to those of you who came to the 'Meet the Teacher' meeting, but if you were unable to attend this PowerPoint, a printed summary was sent home for your reference, should you need any clarification at a later point.
