Dear children and parents,
We hope you are all keeping well and have had an enjoyable and active week, this week. It has been lovely to see your decorations and pictures for VE Day and we hope you had a wonderful day with your families, whether you were in the garden, having a tea party or a 2m street party!
It has been fantastic to see lots of you make and enjoy your fruit salads and we hope your family enjoyed them too! The halving numbers and shape work has been brilliant. Super spelling activities, story maps and the stories that we have received have been delightful too.
Besides the activities we have set, we have been very impressed with the games and activities you have been playing or helping your family with. Whether it has been growing plants, planting vegetables, colouring, drawing, making up dances and playing connect 4.
Just a reminder for next week, Friday is on the school calendar as a non-pupil day, meaning that you will all have a long weekend before half term. However, we have set the same amount of weekly work that we normally set, this does not mean that we expect you to continue to work on the Friday if you don’t manage to complete it but it is there for you to complete whenever you are able to.
You’re all doing fantastic jobs, adults and children, and we hope to see lots more pictures of your work next week.
Have a wonderful weekend with your family and have fun outside in the lovely sunshine
Miss Burling & Mrs Turner
